2nd Ibero-American Congress on Micro-Grids with Distributed Generation of Renewables

Practical application of Renewable Energy integration at UNESCO Sites.
6-8 October, 2014.

bannercongreso2Smart microgrids are electric power grids that can integrate the actions of the users connected to them and thus provide an efficient, sustainable, profitable and secure electric power supply.

Being the previously mentioned an strategic subject that brings new challenges, the organisers have called the 2nd Ibero- American Cogress on Micro-Grids with Distributed Generation of Renewables (Practical application of Renewable Energy integration at UNESCO Places). It will be held at Palacio de la Audiencia in Soria from 6 to 8 October, 2014. The Centro de Desarrollo de Energías Renovables—CEDER-CIEMAT (Renewable Energy Development Centre) and Soria City Council are responsible for organizing this event with the sponsorship of the Programa Iberoamericano de Ciencia y Tecnología—CYTED (Ibero-American Programme for Science, Technology and Development) and other contributors.

This forum will analyze smart grids, combine synergies and opinions among different companies and research groups from Ibero-American countries on Microgrids development and the integration of Distributed Generation (DG) with Non- Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE). Definitely this Congress will contribute to their integration in different places.
