Casa de las Quinteras

La Casa de las Quinteras is an ethnographic museum in Valverde in the house of a family of local women teachers whose surname was Quintero, the reason for its name.
Here the visitor can see ethnographic details from the island, in four different rooms devoted to the subjects of the workshop, the smithy, the weaver and textiles, and wood and clay. The Centre also houses some of the Island Council or Cabildo’s own ethnographic collection. There is a handicraft shop designed to allow for the promotion and purchase of local craftwork.
