This week we participated in the conference "Boosting sustainable development from high biodiversity", which is part of the project of the VII framework program Netbiome CSA. Its aim is to study the possibilities of developing green and blue economies in areas of high ecological value such as biosphere reserves or Ramsar sites. The challenge of spaces is to reconcile the conservation of nature with sustainable economic activities. Ecotourism, organic agriculture and livestock ... become the most viable options; But these activities should be promoted in a different way: demonstrating in a tangible way that they are doing the work correctly.
In it we intervene presenting our tools for the management of protected natural spaces and consulting services in that area. Solutions like Geosmart or Ecosmart Oriented to the differential promotion of ecotourism in areas of high ecological value. Solutions that stand out by the introduction of technologies such as sensorization for destinations and areas to show their commitment to sustainability.
