RIMAP is a tool that addresses many of the current gaps in the management of geological risks posed by the international community (Hyogo World Conference Framework of Action 2005-2015)

  • Harmonization of risk mapping.
  • The insufficiency of the necessary tools to be able to fully evaluate the risk and establish the procedures for its reduction.
  • The necessary involvement of all social actors in risk mitigation.
