Spain leads the Starlight list of favorite tourism destinations for stargazing, followed by Portugal, Chile and soon Canada.
The "Starlight" Foundation for the protection of the dark that allows us to see the stars, defends from Spain this right as a common universal heritage and tourist attraction, the last frontier for earthly evasion, daydreaming and science.
"Starlight" is an initiative supported by UNESCO, the World Tourism Organization, the International Astronomical Union and the Astrophysics Institute of the Canary Islands (Spain), where the first stellar observation points are born.
