The Minister of Tourism, José Manuel Soria, has visited in San Sebastián de La Gomera the works that Turespaña is doing in the slope of the risk on which the Parador of La Gomera.
According to the minister, the Parador is one of the most important facilities on the island, and for this reason, the government has adopted the necessary works to provide security to the hillside. They are expected to be completed within two months.
During this visit the Minister has been able to verify the development of the works and how the landslides damaged the facilities of the Yacht Club, which has been closed since November last year. The landslides also affected the Parador de La Gomera.
