The Observatory intends to permanently evaluate the progress or setbacks towards sustainability through the analysis carried out through indicators.
It seeks to obtain information relevant to the monitoring and evaluation of the most critical processes of development, trying to help identify policies that allow action to be taken as closely as possible to the origin of the causes and to raise prospects for a more sustainable development.
Good practices
A collaborative tool of Good Practices made especially in Biosphere Reserves of the global network is made available to the Biosphere Reserve. This module can be accompanied by a social network support service, with information exchange management

- Encourage the informative and collaborative aspect.
- Higher visibility and virality (the message reaches large numbers of people).
- To allow the international projection of the project.
- Adapted to mobile channels (android, apple) and tactile supports (i-pad ...).

Sustainability Watches
Sustainability Clocks are a web application for visualizing the most relevant indicators in the area of monitoring the Action Plan of the Reserve itself, through a representation of "clock", which also allows viewing the time series of data of these indicators.
They also serve to compare the results with other Reserves or territorial areas of similar characteristics, in order to provoke a reaction of improvement in those responsible or decision makers.
