The sustainable tourism is one that encompasses tourist activities respectful of the natural, cultural and social environment; As well as with the values of the community visited.
The concept assumes that the relationship between the tourist and his vacation objective is fair, that is, that the benefits generated by both parties are distributed equally.
All this requires that the visitors have a truly participative attitude in their travel experience, that is involved with the region they visit. Far and away are the tourist objectives of "use and pull": travelers who practice sustainable tourism are aware of the cost of their travel, and try to compensate.
Such awareness would have its origin in factors such as information on environmental issues or the impact of tourism activities; As well as the desire of travelers to obtain higher quality standards of the products and services they receive.
