The International Consultative Committee of Unesco has approved the proposal of Biosphere Reserve of the Sierra del Guadarrama, raised by the municipalities of the Real Sitio de San Ildefonso and El Espinar. The proposal will be finalized by the International Co-ordinating Council of Unesco on 30 May in Paris.
