The STARTER Project for Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve (स्पेन)

RENforFuerteSTARTER aims to promote energy efficient and sustainable mobility policies and practices through the cooperation of all local interested parties.

The concept of Local Travel Plan Networks (LTPN) will be applied in 5 sites across Europe to engage relevant stakeholders (authorities and representatives from the transport and touristic sector) in the adoption of a common strategy aiming to shift a significant proportion of the transport load from the private cars to more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility options (target 10% primary energy savings and 10% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions).
