Just when it seems that Nature couldn’t be more magical in these Islands furthest South in Europe, suddenly up sprung a new underwater volcano to surprise us all, one more volcanic incident in the sequence of the Islands.
The Museum offers an exhibition hall with some samples of the volcanic matter that was expelled during the submarine eruption, with a small audiovisual viewing room where there is a brief documentary of what happened between October and November 2011 in the waters of Las Calmas.
